Today, Debi headed back into White Rock, to speak with Charlie. His Great-Grandmother owned this house, which was standing back in the day of White Rock. He also owns the property where the town used to stand, but sadly, Debi was still unable to get an additional information on the cemetery. Debi did purchase some bison meat from Charlie. Mar 22, 2010 - Republic County, KS (Ionia, KS)

We are camping in Jewel County, which is just west of Republic County. We stopped at the first city in Republic County, to get our bearings as to where White Rock Township is located. Good that we did, because, White Rock Cemetery was just north of this town. Before we went to the cemetery, we headed into Belleville, and stopped at the Historical Museum. Mar 21, 2010 - Route 36

This morning we headed out north of I-70 to pick up Route 36, which will take us into Republic County, Kansas. Debi’s 2GreatGrandparents lived in the county for several years, we hope to find some birth & death records for family members. We didn’t see many campgrounds, so when we saw a sign for Jewel County State Fishing Lake with camping, we decided to take a chance.
