Today’s theme for the route…..turn right, go up a hill. Every time we made a right, it was immediately followed by a monster hill……even so, it was a nice day to ride in Iowa….low humidity…..sunny. Head wind most of the day, so on one hand it kept you cool……on the other hand, it was a head wind….we all survived. Gene got a great site near the downtown festivities…..although kind of far from where Joe had to turn in the $5,400 bike….and return to the antique….ended up stretching the ride from 76 miles to 82.
