May 4, 2011 - Sloan, Iowa (Winnevegas Casino)
Our last stop for the night before we get to Sioux City is the Winnavegas Casino just outside of Sloan, Iowa; the electric hook up in the parking lot of the casino is $10.00 for the night. We went in and had dinner and gambled a bit. I had some luck at the blackjack tables. We hoped mom and dad would meet us out here for dinner and some gambling since it was seniors day; unfortunately they had other plans. We will be seeing them tomorrow.

Jun 13, 2010 - Crossed Iowa
Drove today 332 miles Following the journal you know we do not drive very far in a day. But today we did not have any stops we wanted to make so we headed for Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Iowa always amazes that it is such a pretty state to cross. Alot of rolling farm land. This trip we are trying to cross the country on roads we have never been on.
