Johnny showers and Jan walks Nicky. We are on the road by 9:50AM. We both slept well last night and slept in! In Beresford, we stop at Subway and try their breakfast sandwiches for the first time. They are quite good. At 10:45AM, we’re back on the road. We see lots of corn fields and granaries. It is a cloudy day. At 11:15AM, it is 80 degrees. At 11:30AM, we are in Iowa. We cross the Big Sioux River and see flooding around its banks. We pass through road construction. We begin to see flooding on our right. We are outside of Sioux City and...
