Aug 6, 2010 - The final charge home.

The last two days were truly an endurance run, but we made the very most of our last extended days together. Izzie found a new travel perch on our bed in the back...thank the Lord she didn't find it sooner. But she enjoyed riding in the lap of luxury on our final stretch. And of course Kiera thought this was just too cool. Kiera also discovered the joy of what she affectionately dubbed the "wind tunnel." Jul 18, 2009 - Oxford, Iowa

This morning John and I had errands to run before leaving Gretna/Omaha. He had a 9am appointment to have Arvy serviced (oil change) and I went to the Wal-Green store to pick up prescriptions. I then met him at the truck shops and we hooked up the jeep. We left east on I80 and crossed the Missouri and into Iowa about 10:15. Our trip to Oxford, Iowa, was uneventful....more corn fields....
