May 19, 2012 - Grayson's Memorial Service

This morning we had to get up at 4:00 AM to get to Grayson's Memorial Service in Gowrie by 10 AM. We drove over to Danica's place and then we took her van from there. The kids had a visitation with a small service at about 11:30 AM. It is soooo difficult to see your children in so much pain.

Apr 28, 2012 - Visit With Greg and Angel

I talked to Greg last night and let them know that we'd bring lunch over today. Danica drove all of us over to Gowrie in her van. It is amazing how nice it feels to be in a car for a change. You just don't feel those bumps!! I took my cole slaw over and the makings for strawberry shortcake. We sent Greg and Lee out to get some broasted chicken. Oct 8, 2011 - Greg & Angel's Wedding

Today was a big day for our son, Greg. We've waited a long time for this ourselves! Greg is 40 years old and he finally tied the knot!! Angel did a wonderful job of planning the wedding and everything went without a hitch. Our youngest grandchild, Addisyn, made a lovely flower girl. Greg's two boys, Jayden and Jordon were both in the wedding. Jordon was a Junior Groomsman and Jayden was the Ring Bearer. May 30, 2011 - Visiting With Greg and Angel

Danica drove her kiddos and us over to see Greg and Angel in Gowrie today. I can't figure out why I didn't take more pictures. It isn't like me, but I only took four and one was too dark. Anyway, we had a nice visit and it was good to see the kids again.

Jun 6, 2010 - Visiting With Greg & Angel

Today we took off with Danica and the kids and went to Gowrie, Iowa to visit Greg and Angel. Angel is buying an old Victorian home that they are working on restoring. They had a really nice lunch for us. It was nice meeting Angel and some of her family and taking a tour of the house. We don't envy them the restoration work on the house, but it could be magnificent when they are finished!
