We traveled in a wind storm - but at least it was a head wind. There were some nasty storms coming so we decided to head out. The campground in Avoca, IA, doesn't look like anything to write home about - kinda run down, kinda on the edge of town, you know the type. But the people there were so nice. They were missionaries and when their assignment was up decided to look for a cafe to run - she was from the Avoca area and they found this restaurant/campground for sale.
