Now we are on the road for another year of travel. Last year was a bust since I spend Christmas in Toledo Hospital getting a valve job. It took some time to heal but here we are on the road again. Our first major stop for a length of time will be Corpus Christi, Texas. Plan on being there on Saturday. Our journey took us down US 24 to Ft. Wayne and south on I-469 to I-69 around Indianapolis to Plainfield Indiana, Plainfield is west of Indianapolis by the airport. 2018 Winter

May 5, 2016 - To Summer Camp for Adults and Back to Indiana

Between grandsons' soccer and football games, we managed to decorate our new condo and organize our belongings in it. We had to wait quite awhile for our couch and loveseat and the ottoman arrived disguised as another loveseat. We had to return it and reorder. When the reordered one arrived, it was brown instead of Lily Pad (green) so we told the store to just forget it. It was smaller than I wanted anyway. We made a couple trips to an auctioneer with a car full of Longaberger Baskets and I was quite pleased with the checks I soon received!...

Aug 12, 2015 - Becoming Part-timers

We wondered a time or two during the cruise if our RV was okay in Seattle, but our worries were unfounded. Everything was just fine except that we hadn't received our mail from South Dakota or a package that Karen sent us from Indiana that included pictures of the kids. We had paid a deposit of $100 for our campsite and hadn't been asked for any more money, so we called the office about our bill and our mail.
