Aug 14, 2010 - More Mangopongo

Pancakes for a late breakfast. Relaxing day with little to do except for conversation, etc. We joined nearly 100 other campers for an Ox Roast sponsored by the campground. The meat was surprisingly tender and there was a variety of potluck dishes to compliment it. The evening was tranquil and we sat and chatted with our group until the mosquito's began to pester us.

Aug 13, 2010 - Shipshewana to Manapogo

FRIDAY, August 13 -- Today we will travel only about 35 miles to the Orland, Indiana area. It's near Pokagon State Park and the city of Angola, IN. But first, we had a leisurely morning and drove over to Yoder's Red Barn to check out the shops there. Back to the campground, hooked up the car, and off we went. Took secondary roads through Northeastern Indiana. Amish country with mostly farm land. Mangopongo RV Park is on the shore of Lake Pleasant and to get there we had to navigate under the Indiana Toll Road with a clearance of 13'3" ( We...
