While kicking around Southern Ontario the last few weeks, I managed to visit people in London, St. Thomas, Guelph, Don Mills, The Beaches, Port Elgin, Kingston, Newmarket, Coboconk, Hamilton, Brampton, Pickering and Mississauga. Today, I escaped and headed west again! I left Mississauga about 10 am and headed for the border at Detroit. There wasn't any lineup coming off the Ambassador Bridge and although the Border Patrol looked in the trailer, I was only held up for a couple of minutes. Then I headed south on I-75 towards Toledo. May 4, 2009 - Mishawaka, IN - RV/MH Museum in Elkhart, IN
(Ron Writing) This morning we drove a short distance northwest from Goshen, IN to Elkhart, IN. Penelope, our trusty (most of the time) GPS, took us directly to my nephew Loren’s home. We hadn’t seen Loren in about 7 years so we had a nice visit at his home and then over lunch at the Cracker Barrel. After lunch we toured the RV/MH Hall of Fame Museum & Library in Elkhart.
