Well, our first day (August 1st) started as planned. Betty worked (temporary) at the MB Convention Center until noon. We got on the road about 6:30 PM because our destination was only at a Flying J outside of Columbia, SC (150 miles). We got on the road about 9:00 AM and only went about 5 miles on I-20 when a trucker pulled along side pointing to the Saturn Vue (our towed vehicle) with alarm on his face.
