Jun 1, 2014 - Home Sweet Camping World

We stopped at Camping World in Greenwood, IN, a suburb of Indianapolis. The Service Shop is closed on Sundays. This one is different from a lot of the others in that it has electrical hook-up for customers in the parking lot. There are a lot of RV’s in the parking lot and I hope they are not all waiting for service or we’ll be here until the 4th of July. I’ll have to be at the door at 0800 to see if they can work us in on Monday or Tuesday. After we got settled, we took a ride into Indianapolis. I’m impressed with the downtown area it...

Sep 17, 2013 - Sept 16th - 31st Stop - Greenwood, IN

Monday A bumpy ride on I 70 in IL and IN to here. Their road contractors just don't know how to make smooth transitions on bridges and overpasses. I have to brake for just about every one. We went to dinner with my daughter Lauren, her new husband, her son Ryan, my ex-wife Beth and her adopted child. Good meal and good company. Tuesday Today we went to Wally World for groceries. Ryan and Steve, Lauren's husband came over to the RV Park to have Bison burgers on the grill. Tomorrow night we go to Lauren's new house to cook Bison steaks on the...

I flew to Detroit and then to Sioux Falls, arriving there about 10 PM after a little delay in Detroit. Yes, this is my second trip to renew my driver's license and this time I know they will accept the SS card I have!

Apr 25, 2011 - little trip to Camping World

It was only a 90 minute drive up to Greenwood, south of Indianapolis, where Camping World is located. The service personnel looked at the steps and verified that I needed a new motor. It was ordered and expected in early tomorrow morning. They have a big parking lot with electric service and that's where I stayed overnight. I didn't bring the car, so I walked around the residential and business areas nearby and had dinner at a pretty good restaurant. If the ground was drier, I could have played miniature golf, but everything off the macadam...
