Apr 24, 2011 - Easter Day

This morning we went over to visit Barbara's sister, Bettie (she is mostly bedridden and on oxygen) and her husband Raymond. She came to the table and sat up visiting with us for a long time. One of her sons, David, and his wife, Linda, came over to see us too. What a delightful young couple. Later we went back over to Becky's house for a HUGE holiday feast. Apr 23, 2011 - Family Time

We drove to the home of one of Barbara's sisters and visited awhile with she and her husband. They took us to a local restaurant for lunch where we were joined by more family. Barbara's brother, his wife and another of Barbara's sisters joined us there. Barbara was the oldest of seven children. All live up in this area where Russell and Barbara grew up. WORLD'S VIEW THROUGH MY PEN

Apr 22, 2011 - Gas City, Indiana

Russell drove through pouring rain to arrive here late yesterday afternoon. Glad we moved on to Northern Indiana though. We would have been in the main tornado route. As it turned out, the tornado siren still went off a little after midnight last night giving us a bit of a fright. We dressed and went up to sit in the shower room. We were the only ones there as the park doesn't officially open until May 1st. After a driving rain lasting about 5 minutes, it was all over, thank goodness. Went back to the RV and my hubby fell asleep...

WORLD'S VIEW THROUGH MY PEN

Aug 5, 2010 - Pulled up stakes again

Another great day on the road.Packed up at Big Bend,went into White Cloud and got 2 more new tires put on for good measure and headed south. Meant to stop at Campers World in Grand Rapids but missed exit so maybe next one in our path. Did Stop at a Meigers for a few thing somewhere around Ft Wayne.
