Mar 31, 2012 - On our way to New Mexico, stopping off in Joplin

We sure hated to leave the Farmer family but it's time for to head west. We are looking forward to seeing Zack and Randee and some of the people we didn't get to see the last time we were in the Joplin area. We left about noon on Thursday and filled up the pick up. $81 for 18 gallons of fuel! That got us to the Flying J in Belleville,IL and we spent the night there. The next day we filled up again and spent $85 there which took us in to Joplin with a 16th of a tank. :) We stopped to get something to eat in Springfield, Mo and discovered...

Mar 15, 2012 - Time to get ready to roll...

It looks like we'll be leaving southern Indiana in around 10 days. It's easy to get comfortable here, we're among friends/family and we enjoy the fellowship we find here. Jim has done about all he needs to do in the bathroom. They will be adding some finishing touches to it but all in all, it is such an improvement over what was there before! Wanda has her big, walk in shower and a newer, higher, toilet and a pedestal sink will soon follow. Everything is clean and white and fresh and solidly built. I'm proud of Jim! Feb 29, 2012 - Spring is finally here!

I can't believe that March will be here tomorrow! The robins are everywhere and the trees are budding out. There is a lovely row of bright yellow daffodils out in the back yard. Last night we were sitting outside and we were surprised to see the mosquitoes are out! After we left Jim's mom's we headed down to Charlestown to see Danny and Wanda Farmer and all of their family. May 5, 2011 - God is so Good!

We are having another sunny day! Thank you Lord! We are at Danny & Wanda Farmer's house and we are having such a good time. We always feel so at home here! We've been able to get acquainted with Kanetha's new husband, Chris and we've seen Jarred and also Danny's brother, Dennis. Those of you who know this family, know what a treat it is to spend time with them. It is such a loving family! Aug 10, 2009 - Indiana

We picked this State Park in Indiana because we thought it would be peaceful and quiet. Ane we were right, there were only about 5 other people in here. With the whole park to pick from, we thought we had a good spot, but we ended up getting a little scratch on the side of the Montana from some tree limbs :( But it is a nice peaceful spot with nothing around but a few turkeys and raccoons.
