Jan 5, 2018 - On the move-Timberline RV Campground

It was worth the delay. Rig is back, loaded up and away we go. Only getting a short hop in today. Weather continues very cold but forecast is showing warmer beginning tomorrow. I had an interesting time at the REV group. We now have restarted our journey to the south and warmer climes. Waiting for the big game tonite, guess we should thank the Americans for hosting the tourney lol. Quite the storm hitting the eastern seaboard, bit of everything falling from the sky. Take care all

Aug 8, 2014 - GOING TO TOWN

We enjoy geocaching at the state parks where we stay, we also like to change the geocaching from day to day. One day we may geocache on the trails in the state park and then the next day go into town for some shopping and geocaching. Today is the city park to look at the waterfall in a creek that runs into a lake for fishing. This cache we had to measure the width of the water fall and take the temp of the water. We got to read the information board about how the creek got it's name and why. The fun part about geocaching is that you learn...

May 11, 2010 - To Anderson, IN

We make an early trip into town for breakfast and then head back to Alice’s home. We hook up the trailer. It is pouring down rain and we are all soaked. As Alice waves good-by to us I am sure she is thinking we are nuts! We take the interstate around Cincinnati in the rain but as we head north, the weather clears. Alice gave us each a Buckeye last night for good luck. They must be working. Back on the state roads, we do not hit any traffic and only miss two turns. We take the Reservoir Road at one point. It is not planned but we see a...
