Aug 24, 2012 - Sister & Niece

Today will be the day we visit with relatives and go to see mom and dad at the cemetery. Later this day laundry and getting ready for the 1st leg of the real journey tomorrow. Looking for to it. Will be going to Peru, Ill for one night then on to the Wisconsin Dells. The campground we are at filled up with three wheel motorcycles yesterday. Most of them were pulling little trailers that folded out into tents. Older people and very quiet. Most of the cycles are honda's with a few Harley's. Aug 22, 2012 - Leaving Rio Grande for Anderson

Day 3 up at 6:30am due to the dog from hell. Leaving around 9-10am enroute to my home town. It should take us around 4 to 5 hours to get their with a couple of stops. Nothing much to see from here to their. A little foggy this morning but it's clearing off should be a nice day. Looking forward to seeing sis and Missy. More later.

Aug 22, 2012 - Arrival Anderson, Ind

Well we are here arrived about one hour ago. Pretty much and uneventful trip as I expected. Things will get a little more exciting once we leave here Saturday. Will not post much over the next couple of days. Will start again in earnest once we leave.

Apr 21, 2011 - Anderson, Indiana (Timberline Family Campground)

April 21/11 We travelled east on Hwy 70 to Timberline Family Campground in Anderson, Indiana. This is the first time here and it is clean and easy sites to get into. On Friday, Mike and I went to Housier Park Casino where I won $19.20 on track betting and $136.00 on the slots. We had half price buffet, each of us got $5.00 free play money and $2.00 to play on the Horses for signing up for a casino card. May 11, 2010 - To Anderson, IN

We make an early trip into town for breakfast and then head back to Alice’s home. We hook up the trailer. It is pouring down rain and we are all soaked. As Alice waves good-by to us I am sure she is thinking we are nuts! We take the interstate around Cincinnati in the rain but as we head north, the weather clears. Alice gave us each a Buckeye last night for good luck. They must be working. Back on the state roads, we do not hit any traffic and only miss two turns. We take the Reservoir Road at one point.
