Didn't get a very early start. Had laundry to do and Maggie needed a bath!!! Roscoe now has a WalMart!! so we parked the RV there and went to visit Pat Jones Sanders and her sister Donna. Had a good visit. Didn't get on the road again until 3:30. Decided not to drive through Rockford so we drove out west a ways before turning south toward Oregon and Dixon. Jun 30, 2007 - A Genuine Dutch Windmill

Still from Thomson Causeway Campground, on the outskirts of the town of Thomson in the NW corner of Illinois. We returned to Fulton, a few miles south of Thomson, at the foot of the river bridge before going into Clinton, Iowa, to see the authentic Dutch windmill. Upon entry, the host told us that the community in the late 1990's had commissioned a Dutch company to build them this windmill, to then be taken apart for delivery to Fulton & reassembled as a tourist attraction.
