Jul 21, 2009 - day 37

I got up and prepared chili in the slow cooker. Rick, bunny's brother picked us up around noon. we went to their house and had bbq chicken on the grill. tony, the grand kids, (faith and hope)and I went in the hot tub. I also walked with faith to a nearby playground and went down every slide, did the monkey bars and rode the swings. i scratched my knee by riding the bicycle that was way too small, every time i pedaled i hit something hanging from the handlebar. once again they wore me out. we got back to the rv around 8 and the chili smelled...

Prairie Pines Campground I have been a Cub’s fan since I was a small girl. A dream I’ve always had was to see a game in Wrigley field. Well that dream came true here and boy, will it be a game to remember. I went online and was able to get two tickets pretty close to the field behind home plate. They have a picture of the field there and the seats looked pretty good. We parked in the DeVry Institute’s parking lot and we were bused over to the front gate of Wrigley Field. Jul 20, 2009 - day 36

we left this morning around 9 am. gassed up ($98) 48 gal. traveled 312 miles to Rantoul, Illinois. we hit some construction and arrived walmart around 4pm. we picked up a few items then bunny's brother and sister in law met us and took us to the campground. they had their 2 grandchildren with them, faith and hope, 8 and 5 years old. lots of energy. we ordered pizza, had foot races and caught fire flies. whew, they wore me out. current mileage is 47384, so far we traveled 4265 miles. not sure whats up tomorrow. ttyl.
