It was a long day on the Interstate going through Springfield and Bloomington. Interstates are not our favorite way of traveling but the most direct, following Old Route 66. Lots of farm land along the highway and getting out of hills. Rained most of the day, seriously at tims. Arrived in Joliet about 5 pm and set up for the week’s visit. Gloria came to visit after work and we had a good time...
