Jun 23, 2007 - Boat Show

Still from Pere Marquette State Park, near Grafton, Illinois, 30 miles north of St. Louis. After dinner last night we walked through the park to the lodge for two reasons. The first was to enable us to sleep during the night without a guilty conscious that we had been patio potatoes the WHOLE day. Jun 21, 2007 - Small World

Still from Pere Marquette State Park, Grafton, Illinois, 40 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri. We continued to follow the GRR yesterday, which followed Illinois Highway 3 into East St. Louis. We're Wingin' It

First of all, I'm really bummed I didn't get photos w/ Taylor Valentine in Kansas City. I know we kept saying we'd take some photos and I had the camera out but somehow it didn't happen. In any case it was great to stop in and hang out for a night. Especially after the fleabag hotel in St Louis the previous night. So thanks Taylor for putting us up and for the good times. We need to do it more often. Otherwise, there was the St. Louis arch, and lots of road. Kansas pretty much is one straight road, I-70 all the way. I fell asleep and by...
