Jun 11, 2012 - Time with family
Rick's great aunt and uncle (Bob abd Barb) have recently moved to Monarch Landing, a senior living community in Naperville (Chicago suburb). What an incredible place....they have their own apartment on the 4th floor with a parking place also on the 4th floor so no elevator between the two! Within the building there is a pool, workout facility (complete with classes), a formal dining room for dinner, a casual dining room for any meal, doctor, bank with ATM, hair salon, craft room, computer room, workshop for woodworking and other projects...

Jan 17, 2010 - House Rented - back to Naperville
We have rented our home in Naperville for 2 years to a a couple from Lewisville North Carolina and have to go back home to remove the contents. Mark, Stephen and Heather and friends are coming down in the next 2 weeks to take whatever they think they can use. We cant possibly fit it all in the MH. Perhaps the real estate market will be better in 2 years - its quite possible? Nov 26, 2009 - Naperville - ready to rumble
Well we were up early on Thanksgiving day November 26th getting all the leftovers loaded. We have had the coach parked by the side of the house for 5 days but it was still a hectic day and we didn't leave until 1:30 PM 3 hours behind schedule. Weather has been cold and wet for past 3 days and inside was a muddy mess. we couldn't open the slides out while the coach is in the street so everything was just dumped in a save place until we an get them stored away. We are driving to Scottsburg Indiana some 286 miles away - more for there on the...

Aug 7, 2008 - Day 8
Today is Day 8 and this will be our last journal entry because we made it home this evening. We woke up this morning in Cleveland and spent most of the day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Wow, was that awesome!!! They have so many guitars, letters, clothes, cars, etc. from bands like U2, Queen, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, The Who, Rolling Stones and artists like Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Madonna, and so many more. The museum actually has more artifacts than they can display so they change the displays every so often. It was...

May 16, 2008 - The Changes that happen while we are Gone
So on the road again this time to our final destination, the grand old Naperville that we call home. On our way home though you could tell that both of us were exhausted and just sick of being in the car because for a good chunk of the way home you could hear crickets chirping. Along the way we found something that confused us because by the time we got to the border we discovered that while we were gone for only a week they changed the name of our lovely state from Illinois to just Illino. Also we discovered that a good part of Illino was...

It was a cold and blustery Sunday afternoon and the Marshall sisters loaded up the car to begin what would soon be the adventure of a lifetime. They loaded up the car with food, music, entertainment, and other necessities before waving goodbye to the place they once called home, nearly getting lost before even pulling out of the driveway. As they made their way through the familiar streets of Naperville, they reminisced on their childhood adventures swinging from tree branches and galavanting with baboons (because they have the red butts,...
