Nov 12, 2016 - Veterans Day

First thing November 11th, the park had a breakfast and tribute for the veterans. It was pretty nice and all of us were recognized and were asked to tell where and when they served. Then later on in the afternoon we went to the Texas Roadhouse for my free lunch! They sure appreciate the veterans down here. And keep us well fed. Later on we went to Costco for a while and saw these giant king crab legs, they were huge!

Oct 28, 2016 - Departure

Well, after getting all of our doctor appointments completed over the last two months we were finally ready to head south for the winter. It was 2 o'clock before we turned onto 127 south. I got to mow a little and do some spraying and while mowing I came across that turtle digging a hole to lay her eggs, cool. Got a new dash radio installed in the motorhome without too much...

Apr 26, 2016 - Getting ready

There's a lot of work to get done before our trip. The last couple of days were spent replacing the house batteries and a few battery cables. Also Denis helped with awning repair, buffing out some scratches, giving the motorhome a bath and a wax. It shines like a new one. I can't thank Denis enough for everything he does to help me! Thanks Cuz!
