THREE ISLAND CROSSING/GLENNS FERRY Yesterday, we left Red Rock RV and drove to Three Island Crossing State Park. It seemed that our time spent in Yellowstone was fairly hectic. We drove over 1,000 miles and explored as much as we possibly could in the time we had. Now it was time to “kick back” and relax, catch up with ourselves, and Three Island was just the place to do that. Yellowstone 2011

May 24, 2011 - Three Island Crossing SP, ID

We are back in familiar territory. Stayed the night at Three Island Crossing SP. This is where the pioneers crossed the Snake River (or tried to). Lots of Oregon trail info and covered wagons to look at. Campgrounds are becoming a little fuller the closer to Memorial Day we get.
