Weather is cool again so we decided to take a 150 mile circute run over a local "Historic Byway" passing through Soda Springs. Soda Springs is named after a carbon Dioxide spring which is no on a timer to go off once an hour. We had lunch in the dining room of the hotel next to the spring. It was a home cooked old fashioned meal in old fashioned room.

Oct 9, 2007 - Last days at Jackson Hole then on to Soda Springs, ID, and Provo, UT

Monday, 10/8 we hiked the Jenny Lake trail from the southeast end of the lake to the northwest. We didn't make it all the way to Inspiration Point, because I was a Nervous Nelly. It was so deserted and wild. Then after we decided to turn back (I love my husband) we passed almost a dozen others coming up behind us. We should have continued, but it was a 3 hour hike anyway and absolutely amazing as is everything else in the Grand Teton area.
