Aug 30, 2012 - Priest Lake, ID
Thu, 30 Aug: Today we relocated from the TA RV Park south of Sandpoint to Priest Lake in northern Idaho. Our kind friend, Betsy, has a summer place and invited us to stay with her. It was a short and enjoyable drive with no difficulties. Our route took us north on US 95 to Sandpoint where we moved to US 2 west to Priest River where we transitioned to ID 57 for the drive north. Aug 25, 2012 - Priest Lake State Park
We decided to do a bit of exploring today. We drove about 100 miles north to visit the Priest Lake, ID area. Aug 13, 2005 - Mud bog and great wilderness ride
Arrived here in Northeastern Idaho yesterday. Several rivers , Kootenia, Yaak & Moiyie meet in this area. The topography is breathtaking. The area is very isolated and we have to drive about 10 miles to obtain cell phone signal. Went to a Mud Bog in Troy Montana and had a great time. Took the long way home to the Rv via the Cabinet Mountain wilderness. The Tour guide has two hikes planned for tomorrow, one waterfall and a stand of old cedars.
