We drove about 60 miles today to check out a campground in Potlatch, ID. A friend told us about a campground there, it has great RV sites for only $250 a month plus electric. A superb deal, but we found it to be a bit too far from all the places we plan to explore in the area. The name of the campground is Scenic Six RV Park. I am adding photos of the town just in case anyone is interested. We loved the town and the people. We had a great lunch at Dad's Cafe. Jun 19, 2007 - Scenic Bypass day trip to Potlatch, ID and back ~ 165 miles

Today was glorious. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. We decided to take a scenic bypass route around the east side of Lake Coeur d'Alene then through the mountains and on to the rolling farmlands. We left at 10 AM and got back to the park at 6 PM. We stopped in a little historic city, Harrison, and had an ice cream outside on the sidewalk patio. The scenery was spectacular.
