May 24, 2008 - New Meadows
The next morning we were determined to swim in the lake! There was patches of snow still on the ground but when we had checked the lake the night before it was only semi-cold. However, when we started to wade in the next morning things were a wee bit chillier! Kinda like glacier water actually...some how we both managed to dunk under and get our hair wet before calling it good! We were very refreshed though for those who are wondering!
