We drove through the Snake River Plateau, which looks like a crescent on the map. Where irrigation is used, ranch buildings, cattle, and fields of corn, hay and potatoes were abundant. But as we left the Snake valley, the foliage was typical Great Basin dessert plants and sage brush. We bought diesel fuel in Twin Falls, ID, at $3.29 with Bob's trucker discount.
