The temperature at Great Falls was 11C at 7 AM, the result of chinook winds blowing in. I gave some thought to getting an early start until I checked the weather further south. Helena, about and hour south, was -2C. Better to sit back, have a leasurely breakfast and stick to the original plan of letting the sun come out and warm things up a bit.
