Lori, Lena(the dog), and I took the jeep to Grandview and headed up Mud Flat Rd to explore the Owyhee Uplands Byway. Boy was it something. I've lived in Idaho my whole life and never new it existed back there. Been on both sides and to Silver City a bunch, but the country between Grandview and Jordan Valley is from a different planet. I've never seen such beautiful Juniper forests. Kinda like around Prescott, Az, but way, way cooler. We both said we have to go back some time. We traversed about 1/2 the 103 miles and then returned.
