Oct 10, 2011 - On my way to Darby, MT

Left out this morning about 9 AM and arrived in Darby about 2:30 my time. got to see some Bighorn sheep on the way here along the Clark Fork, ate lunch in Missoula and came on down to Darby and checked into the Travelers Rest Cabins and RV resort. Will do some exploring here tomorrow. It is raing again this evening and suppose to rain tomorrow. Gads!@ will it ever stop raining.

Oct 8, 2011 - 1st day in Clark Fork

Today we are going to tour the area. Don and Junie are being very gracious and taking me out into the forest and across the Clark Fork over to a viewepoint for Lake Pend Orielle. this is a huge and very deep lake. One of it's claim to fame is that they used this last for submarine training for the older subs. It is suppose to be 1300' deep in spots. It is beautiful here. Lots and lots ofCedar trees and the Clark Fork is huge flowing right beside the town. I was able to get some shots to combine into a panorama of the whole area here. Don...
