Mar 2, 2008 - Aloha Hawai'i
My shortest stopover is Hawai'i I am only here for 6 days, I get to live Groundhog day coming from Fiji where I leave at 22.50 on the 02.03.08 and I land in Hawai'i at 07.20 on the 02.03.08, very confusing but I gain myself 2 extra days this with that and with it being a leap year! I get myself checked into a hostel then wander around for most of the first day in a complete daze! Wakiki is my first port of call and as I have only 6 days here I am not sure I will get to visit any other parts of the island, or any other islands. I spent the...Jump to full entry

Well, we made it! After spending 10 glorious days in Hawaii, 7 days on Oahu and 3 days in Kahuai, we are filled with the beauty that this paradise provided. It was wonderful having nephew Chris join us for 3 days, celebrating together nephew Tims life in Hawaii and his tragic death one year ago... we felt Tims presence here with us, especially when we stretched our fitness in hiking up Diamond Head! We toured Oahu by car, stopping along the beautiful sites and beaches along the eastern coast, as well as the North shore,-- Sunset beach and...Jump to full entry

Well after waiting about 30 mins for Scott who had his entire back checked as when asked are you bringing any food in to the country he...Jump to full entry

Feb 6, 2005 - Hawaii 40th Anniversary
We are celebrating our 40th anniversary at the Waikiki luau at Paradise Cove. We enjoyed the beautiful Hawaiian music while walking through the Hawaiian Village to learn the arts and crafts of the islands. Then we sat down to a sumptuous feast of pulled pork and traditional Hawaiian dishes. After dinner, with a spectacular Hawaiian sunset as a backdrop, award-winning performers entertained us with an unforgettable display of songs and dances. It was an unforgettable night. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.Jump to full entry
