Feb 19, 2012 - Eastbank Campground - Lake Seminole
We have been camping at Eastbank campground on Seminole Lake for six nights (including tonight). Seminole Lake is bordered by both Georgia and Florida and is bisected by two time zones. Depending on how we want to manipulate the time, we can be in either Eastern Standard time or the Central time. If we want to sleep later, we are in Central Time; if Alan wants to open the bar earlier, we are in the Eastern Time!!! We’ve had a lot of fun with this. Dec 10, 1994 - Seminole State Park, Thanks Ken & Joan!!!
December 10, 1994 Saturday It was dark late - after 7 - 7:30 & foggy this morning. Hardly anyone was moving around in the campground. A lazy morning. We had coffee & didn’t do much in the morning. Jane worked on October books in the computer & finished them. Ted talked (& talked) to our neighbor Ken. He got the awning on the side of the motor home out - cleaned it & the back of the RV. We had cereal a little after noon & Ted had put an apple cider/juice stew in the slow cooker for supper. In the late afternoon it darkened up as if to rain....Jump to full entry
