Thursday we left beautiful Cottonhill Campground and drove north to Midland, GA and Lake Pines Campground for a Georgia Unit WBCCI Campout. Lake Pines is a beautiful campground and event center owned by Connie and Kenny and also Airstreamers, too. Our site was perfectly level and we had a nice concrete patio. They also have one of the best lanudry's we have had. Also on the campground property is a chapel for weddings and "the barn" for special events. We made use of the "Lodge" for our meals and get together. Thursday several units arrive...

Nov 10, 2011 - Notes on Fulltiming Lifestyle

Tho we live and travel fulltime in our Airstream some days are not much different than those spent in a stix and brix. The biggest difference is we get to do our chores in beautiful locations that can change at our whim! So the last two days have been spent doing mundane things......cleaning, grocery shopping, cleaning up the truck, washing clothes.....just things the average person does any day of the week. But.....at the end of the day we can sit outside and enjoy a roaring fire as we watch a sunset over the lake. Or be surprised by deer...
