Saturday morning, we joined the newlywed couple and their families for brunch at a charming German restaurant called the Village Corner German Restaurant Bakery and Tavern. We had a back room all to ourselves and it's mirrored walls and doors made it seem twice as large as it really was. In addition to family, several close friends we'd met at the reception were also at the brunch. The staff was courteous and attentive, the food was amazing and the company was as always enjoyable. Apr 27, 2012 - Dinner Reception

Rachel and James, their parents, Abany, Josh and Jessie had breakfast in the morning and then headed to the court house for a whirlwind marriage ceremony. One of Rachel's good friends helped transform the Clubhouse at Connemara into an amazing wedding reception where Rachel and James's family and friends gathered for dinner and fellowship to celebrate their marriage and to wish them well as they start their life together. Apr 26, 2012 - Dinner at Dave and Beverly's house

We drove from Jax and braved the Atlanta traffic to arrive at our hotel at Stone Mountain, Georgia around 4 PM. We received an invitation to a steak dinner to be grilled outside by Jessie at Dave and Bev house. Remembering the last gourmet meal Jessie had prepared for us, we readily accepted. We checked with Daniel (our trusty GPS - trusty is Barb's description not Bob's) and left in ample time to arrive for the appointed dinner hour.
