Mar 23, 2012 - Tour of the Peanut Factory

Today we took a nice tour of the American Peanut Growers Factory. 100% of all the peanut butter found in "Reese Peanut Butter Cups" come from this plant. At the beginning of the tour you were given a hair net and some were given ear plugs. The plant is so noisy it is very difficult to hear another person speak, so we just toured by observing then we went to a sound proof room where the employee told us a little about peanuts and his factory. Was a pretty neat tour.
