A busy time for the last couple of days . . .celebrating and chasing FRD! "Suster" had a small family reception for us on the fourth. She even had a wedding cake. "Suster" is kin to Martha Steward if you get my drift. A great time was had by all! FRD did go to church and send our blessings from VUCC. He and Rev Chris got in a theological debate and Rev Chris tried to literally bite his head off. Oct 22, 2009 - Visit with Chet & Colleen Vier in Conyers,GA near Atlanta
Thursday, October 22, 2009 Arrived at the Chet & Colleen Front Yard RV Park around 2:30. We got all set up before they got home from work. Friday, October, 23, 2009 Chet and Colleen had the day off so Colleen mad us a wonderful home cooked breakfast and we headed out to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit for a look around and purchase the monks' home made bread. There are about 45 resident monks living at the Monastery. At one time, around 90 monks resided here. We were disappointed to find out that they no longer made bread. They did have a...

Nov 22, 2006 - Thanksgiving Holiday
We leave Myrtle Beach on Nov. 21. We have been invited to spend the Thanksgiving holday with my brother (Jim) and his family in GA. We jump at the opportunity. It will really be nice to spend the holiday with family. It is still raining, as we are driving through Conway, SC, when a motorist pulled along side of us and indicated some sort of problem.
