Nov 5, 2012 - Next Place In Line
Next in line is Brunswick , GA to go see some old plantations , British Forts and "TABBY" . We are staying at a RV resort that has seen its days and could be alot worse then it was. Next time in Brunswick we shall try another place. We went north on our first day in camp to see a private plantation , it was closed for repairs. Oct 31, 2012 - We have a place to call home
After spending a week here, we have decided that this will be home until the end of the year. The park is clean, not pricy and many places are close enough for day trips from here. The only drawback is the internet service here is not very good. We have visited Jeckyl Island already and are off to Simons Island tomorrow.

Oct 25, 2012 - Time to settle down for a while
After a short 2 hour drive today, we arrived at our home base for up to a month in Brunswick, Georgia. The next few days may be a little cloudy and breezy due to hurricane Sandy. They think it will be about 3-400 miles off shore and will have passed us by late Saturday with not too much effect. We will explore the area and also spend time just lounging around. Temperatures are in the upper 20s C and in the low 20s at night.

Jun 24, 2012 - The Maiden Voyage
Our first trip was to Myrtle Beach for driving school to better drive this 44', 50,000 lb. monster. We planned to overnight in Brunswick, GA to break up the trip. Well, when we got up Sunday morning TS Debby had come to escort us. Even with the rain, we decided to go on as it did not seem like it was going to get better anytime soon. We closed up the coach, hooked up the car and headed off. Of course, Debby brought heavy winds and rain along with lots of water on the roads. This made for an interesting first trip. We arrived at Costal...

Jun 24, 2012 - It's just about over.....then Debby comes along!
Well folks....it's almost over. The Keil adventure is coming to a close. You know our trip couldn't end quietly with the sun setting over the horizon and the kids sleeping in the back seat. Nope, we have to have a freakin' Tropical Storm coming at us!!! Good grief!! I hope Florida stays afloat long enough for us to drive through it to get home. We are in a hotel tonight resting up for our final leg tomorrow. We have about a 5 hour drive. We'll take it slow and steady. Thanks for following us along our journey! It's been fun and a great way...

Jun 5, 2012 - Brunswick
We're were up early this morning, 6.15am. Ate our free breakfast at the Microtel Motel in Kingsland and were on the road towards Savannah, via Brunswick early. We had already decided where we wanted to eat lunch, namely the Indigo Coastal Shanty. www.indigocoastalshanty.com We had done a search on Brunswick and were advised that it was an historic area with lots of wonderful 19th architecture. We arrived at 09.30am, and realised quite quickly that there was not much to Brunswick. Obviously this scuppered our lunch plans. So, we decided to...

May 22, 2012 - Brunswick, GA (May 22-23, 2012)
The day was much the same as we travel I-95, regretting we didn't have time to stop, enjoy some of the sites and some friends along the way. I drove until Pete got bored just sitting or napping. Unlike me, he can't read, work on the computer, write/type or other entertainment. So, he gets tired of riding along and wants to drive again. That's why I don't drive as much. We didn't push it and stopped for a little grocery shopping and, of course, Soleil breaks. The night was spent in Brunswick, GA at a small RV park with pull-throughs. We...

Apr 18, 2012 - Golden Isles Vacation Park - Brunswick, Georgia
We were actually headed to Blythe Island Regional Park near Brunswick, because the reviews by other campers were so great, and prepared to pay the full $34 fee for the night. But, on the way, we passed Golden Isles Vacation Park, and it looked so good, we turned around and headed in. The lady at the desk couldn't have been nicer, she'd already written "Fleetwood Flair" on the registration form, and smiled and nodded when I showed her my Passport America discount card. $16 bucks for the night, including free Comcast cable television. What a...

Apr 15, 2012 - Brunswick, GA - Coastal Georgia RV Resort
Well, the Mothership, Libby and crew have finally departed on this Summer's adventure. Our first stop of this year was in Brunswick, GA at Coastal Georgia RV Resort for the Tiffin RV Network Spring rally. It is our first TRVN rally and I finally got to me many of the people I interact with all the time on the Tiffin forums. There are some really sharp people here who collectively know just about everything there is to know about these units and are very free with their information. Coastal Georgia RV Resort is a very nice park just off of...

Apr 2, 2012 - Beginning our journey North
Leaving St. Augustine this morning. Drove to the Flying J in Brunswick, GA. You would not believe the amount of Canadians heading north and they ALL seem to stay at the Flying J's (for those of you who do not know what Flying J is it is a gas station that provides RV and Truck parking for no charge). The Canadians put out their awning; pull out their chairs and put of their TV dishes. I guess they assume it is a campground.
