Jun 7, 2006 - Horseshoe Falls at Cleveland, GA

We moved on up into the northeast corner of Georgia and the Horseshoe Trails Park in a larger complex called Mountain Lakes Resort. It was very nice, even better than the North Shore Park that we had liked. I participated in the water aerobics, we also attended a pot luck dinner one night that was very pleasant. They also had a big water slide, miniature golf, horse back riding, a lake for fishing and paddle-boating and a lot more.

May 9, 2006 - Cleveland, GA

We left Blairsville, GA heading South on US-129 to Cleveland, GA. US-129 is a very scenic mountainous route with lots of steep grades and switchback turns. It was a lot of fun driving it in the RV. The 35 mile trip took about 2 hours. We are staying at Leisure Acres Campground for our visits in Cleveland, Helen, Sautee, Taccoa and Lavonia. This is our next to last stop before finishing our visits in Georgia.
