As usual we got off to a slow start. It’s raining but it looks like it might clear up. I can see hints of blue sky. We were so fortunate my nephew could meet us for breakfast before we left town. The baby is so cute! We went to Cracker Barrel and she loves biscuits and gravy! ?? Some people were not so fortunate. The waters had risen over night and about a block down the street from Cracker Barrel was a retirement home that flooded. There were people and rescue equipment everywhere. A relaxed and pleasant drive through some of southern Georgia's fertile farmland brought us to Arabi, a quiet little town along Interstate 75. Our week stay here is a "breather" for us from our last two locations which had too many tourist attractions to see in a month's stay! And, of course, it will allow Dave to "psych up" for our week in Atlanta - home of his beloved Braves!!!
