Apr 29, 2008 - Lake Worth/West Palm Beach

After leaving Cocoa Beach we stopped at Arthur R Marshall Loxahatchee Nation Wildlife Refuge(5 dollar park fee) We walked the Cypress boardwalk trail listened to many song birds ( 1/2 mile walk with plenty of Mosqitoes) Along the path there is lots of Spanish Moss and Cardinal wild pine on the trees both of these plants I learned are Bromelids which are air plants getting their nutrients from the air and water(rain)mist. We stopped for the night at the Holiday Inn West Palm Beach - Turnpike(7859 Lake Worth Rd. ...

Saturday March 15…10:30pm We watched the rocket take off at exactly 2:09am as scheduled. We had quite a drive to do this afternoon…about 150 miles towards an area south of West Palm Beach. ...
