So we have reached a couple of major milestones on our little outing. It’s a year since we set sail from Southampton leaving the UK in our wake and we have returned to the place from where we started our journey, Lazydays the RV dealer in Tampa. ... Back at the room we Skyped Mummy and Daddy Cheese then booked into a Days Inn in Tampa, right next to Busch Gardens. ... it's like a town man! We arrived in Tampa around 3 and decided to go to the 24/7 gym that we'd seen as we drove in. ... After a good sleep we decided to drive to check out Downtown Tampa and Ybor City. ... it's sooooooooooooo hot! Apparently it regularly reaches 100% humidity here which makes it feel about 10 or 15 degrees hotter and when it's already 95 degrees, it's unbearable! Next stop was Downtown Tampa, we drove past the port where there were a few shops, then realised that there wasn't much else to downtown than the port. ...

After waking up at 8 am with a jolt we hurriedly got ourselves together, breakfast inhaled and on the road shortly after 9. We purposely didn't want to leave too late because that would mean that we would run into the hottest part of the day in Tampa whilst we were unpacking the rig in the storage area. ... The I-75 from Lake City to Tampa was busy, school is out don't forget and every man and his dog bring the kids to the beach in Florida during the summer vacation. ...
