May 10, 2011 - Getting ready to leave

This is the first entry of our trip. We are leaving Friday, May 13. Our first leg of the trip is to the Dayton, Ohio area to visit Kim, Seth and Ben. Next Monday we will head for upstate New York to Bear's Sleepy Hollow Campground, where our RV is located. We plan to spend most of the summer there, but will be taking a few side trips while there. Sometime in mid-August, the real adventure will begin when we head to the west coast of the US.

Oct 18, 2009 - Sun City Center, FL

Today we visited Jeff's Aunt and Uncle in Sun City Center, FL, just 5 miles from our RV Park. We had a nice visit catching up with family news. Their lovely home sits on a beautiful golf course. We went to lunch at Sonny's, a regional restaurant chain that specializes in ribs. Afterwards they drove us around in their car to show us the wide range of facilities offered by their community. Later they took us for a golf cart tour of the adjacent golf course. We saw alligators, birds and even some turtles. Back at their house, we had some...
