Jan 11, 2014 - Wash Out
When we left Green Acres this morning the weather was warm and cloudy. As we drove down I95 we started to pick up some light rain on and off. After passing by Savannah, I decided to head inland to US 301 again to get away from the trucks. Everything was fine until after we stopped for lunch in Hinesville, GA. The heavens opened up and it rained as hard as I’ve ever seen it for the next 3 hours. Several places along US 301 the roadway was flooded. One place I came up on it unexpectedly and the splashing into the engine compartment seemed...Jump to full entry
Jan 14, 2012 - Fix the Tire Day!
David took off his severely ripped tire first thing this morning and we got a lift into town from Helen, who had opted for a car for the weekend. Leisurely afternoon, steak dinner and an evening hanging out the BMW bikers.Jump to full entry

Once again, it's the stuff you don't worry about that gets you. Bad luck but good timing for the flat as our...Jump to full entry
