Dec 27, 2012 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Our very special day started with breakfast at IHOP. Then we traveled north from Port Charlotte to Siesta Key to celebrate the day. Siesta Key is promoted as the #1 Beach in the USA. I am not sure about that, but it is really beautiful. The sand is so white and the texture so fine you have to see it to believe it. We definitely had a sunny Florida White Christmas. Nov 20, 2012 - The Last Hurrah!!!
Hi! Tracy and Moe have left us...only Gail remains! We will be going to the Blue Gator in Dunnellon for a quick drink and then into Ocala for dinner at Carrabas. We will drive Gail into Tampa tomorrow afternoon for the final leg of her journey - home! The trip with all my buds has been really great....so much fun! Nov 18, 2012 - Beached Broads Having A Whale Of A Time
Hello folks, This is the last segment of the trilogy X 10 of the Lonely Planet Wannabees and what a segment it will be!!!!!! Pictures will be included and keep your eye out for Ed Grimley!(See Saturday Night Live -Martin Short). Wait Gail has to go pee again! Anywho we have debated and debated about when we could send you this short missive and unfortunatley we waited till we were all debilitated and pinned to the gills!! Jan 25, 2011 - Siesta Key and Epcot
The year started, as has the past 5(?) with Mike and Karen. This year in sunny and warm Siesta Key Florida. We worked until noon, struggled getting our boarding pass from Southwest Air. Seems their kiosk could not find our reservation with just our credit card. Barbara, my navigator and travel agent, normally has all necessary documents, but not this trip. My fault. I constantly complain about all the stuff she drags along, always pointing out that all we need is our credit card for self check in. So, she relented, shelved her good...
