Mar 27, 2013 - On the road again?

3/27/2013 Wednesday Riverview, FL Will we get back on the road? We have been asking ourselves that question for a while now. On March 11 we pulled out of our winter RV park and took the motorhome to the mechanic for the routine annual service and to check a couple of things. We never anticipated the delay at the mechanic but a throttle control seal replacement to fix a fuel leak and the replacement of the steering gear box took longer than expected. Nov 15, 2010 - Welcome Home

WHOOPIE .... WE MADE IT! We pulled into our winter home around Noon today, 80+ degrees. After winding through the park, we arrived at out home for the next five months = #1541. Sitting in the middle of the space was a small palm tree with a welcome home balloon attached and a pink flamingo! I knew my sister had been here and she confirmed that when I talked with her on the phone and she said, "Well, every snowbird has to have their own palm tree and flamingo." We have a few minor issues to deal with in the RV - like a leak in the toilet,...

Apr 22, 2010 - At Jim and Joyce's

Last day at Jim and Joyce's. really had a nice visit. Jim helped with a itunes problem I've been having. I still say the man is a genius! We did a little shopping. Then that evening went to Little Harbor for dinner and to watch the sunset. It was beautiful!

Apr 21, 2010 - At Jim and Joyce's

Rested today! Went to Riverview sandwich shop for lunch had a great hamburger for lunch. My kind of diner. Family owned and run. Went home and took a nap! Sinuses are clogged and I have laryngitis! For dinner we went to Brandon Ale House and Eleanor had Shrimp Scampi and I had Seafood Alfredo. Oh so delicious or should I say deli she oh so! Called it an early nite. Hope I'm doing better tomorrow or Eleanor will have to do all my talking for me! Yikes!!
