Right now I'm laying in bed listening to the air conditioner.. while back at home it is snowing. .. I love Florida. Soo this morning I had to wake up at 4.30 to get to logan for my 7:00 flight .. and have been roasting on the beach all day.. so I may be half asleep as I write this entry. My plane made one stop in Washington d.c today.. and as we flew into the airport I thought to myself.. this is awesome.. I don't ever have to come to Washington d.c again.. I basically got a tour of everything thats important sitting down in an airplane....

How many of you watched the Grammy Awards tonight? Mike & I are throughly enjoying the celebration of all these talented people. Whitney Houston's death is a very sad part however, of the evening. I remember crying when watching her sing "I will always love you" years earlier. How anyone could make a person feel so much, is inncredible. Probably many of you are feeling the same way. Dec 27, 2009 - Gourmet Dining

Jean is in charge of the picture taking for this blog and as is her want, some of the photos cover the minor period of rough weather as we went outside from Lake Worth to the Hillsboro Inlet. There were brief periods of discomfort on departure and arrival. but avoiding some 12 timed bridges was well worth it....this according to Bfill. This entry also has a lot to do with fine dining. The place is Pompano Beach at the home of cruising friends Jerry and Sistie Sheppard but didn't involve their famous fish. Arriving before Christmas we soon...

Dec 23, 2009 - Bridges and Gremlins

Our trip has brought us to the most frustrating section of the ICW. It is the time that the Florida bridge system begins to intrude on the good order of the passage. It also is the point where little gremlins have begun to creep into the boat and play games with our heads. As example, a red light will turn on at the electrical panel and that will be followed by a low buzz. Investigation reveals absolutely nothing, but the warning stops. There are an increasing number of these annoyances and it may be time to make up a list and start digging...

Charlotte had her emotional moment on Mykonos . . . the tears that come when we remember a time that seems so long ago . . . when we passionately loved a time and a place. I had my moment this morning as I stood on the balcony in the early morning and gazed out at the pristine beach and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. I have forever been drawn to the ocean.
