Dec 10, 2009 - Week Twenty Seven - Closing the Loop

Monday - Nov 30 - A good morning beach walk soon became uncomfortable due to wind and rain and coolness. A ride through Biloxi was in order, and we drove casino row on the beach and saw some of the area on Back Bay Blvd. Katrina sure did a number here. There's a LOT of vacant sites and a lot with foundations and slabs (only) intact. Our hunch is that Biloxi suffered more than New Orleans and is far slower coming back. Made a find at the fishing docks next to the Hard Rock ...fresh caught shrimp for cheap! Took the local recipe advice and...
