May 4, 2012 - Checking Out Fort Pierce
#23 5/4/2012 Today's adventure landed us at the Navy Seal Museum in Ft. Pierce. On the way we stopped at a shop to pick up some parts. This shop has more led lights than I have ever seen. Lights for almost everthing on any vehicle, amazing! We finally got to the musuem. It was very interesting. I didn't know that the seals actually got their start here in Ft. Pierce. We had a great lunch on the river locally and then headed back to the house. We spent the afternoon lounging and had another great home cooked meal. Tomorrow we move a little...

May 3, 2012 - Out and About in Jensen Beach
#22 5/3/2012 Today we headed into Stuart to check out the local feed store that is now a museum. They had lots of old things there, very interesting to see some of them. Next we stopped at a local dive and had a great fish sandwich, so big that Bob & I had to split it. It was really good, we enjoyed it. Then we headed over to Gilbert's Bar House of Refuge. I never knew any had ever existed. Apparently there were ten, this is the only one still standing. The building is built so well, it has even withstood quite a few hurricanes in this...

May 2, 2012 - Arriving in Jensen Beach, FL
#21 5/2/2012 We said goodbye to the west coast of Florida today and head to the east coast at Jensen Beach with Uncle Ken and Joan and Uncle Ken's new best friend Sadie. She is a cute little thing, she loves to pick up sticks and things when she takes her walk, they are always bigger than her! We had a wonderful home cooked dinner and went for a short ride around town to see the sights. It seems that Joan also has a favorite spot, only hers also has a guest house that is bigger than my house! A nice overview of the area, more intense...

Feb 29, 2012 - Polly and Tom Cooper's home
Spent a super night with Tom and Polly Cooper at their fantastic home in Jensen Beach on Skyline Dr. Visited a super farmers market and Polly and I had dinner at Gigi's. Played games and visited in the evenings while getting a couple loads of laundry done. Vera and Casi loved being loose in their home during the evening.

Jan 15, 2012 - Heading south!
Another very cold evening in our tent. Temps were around 33 degrees this morning making it tough to exit our warm sleeping bags. Took down the tents, packed the bikes and said our good byes to David and Theresa who headed back home. (The last time Theresa has to leave a winter rally and head back for work as retirement is planned for January 2013!) Dennis and Cherie head south looking for warmer temps and beach views. A nice quiet ride across central Florida and a great ride down A1A from Melbourne to the Jensen Beach Marriott with very...
