On Monday night, we decided it was time to make plans for the next leg of our journey. We were leaving Topsail without a destination yet figured out. We knew we wanted to go to Stephen Foster State Park and Cultural Center but there were no openings until Sunday. What to do until then? Decided to follow the coast past Panama City toward Port St Joe and found a campground at the very tip of a peninsula on Indian Pass. This is the most laid back place I think I have ever been. Feb 22, 2012 - "A little bit of Hillbilly Heaven"

We met a guy from Wyoming on the beach fishing. We asked him about the area around Indian Pass Campground. he told us where the best prices were for a 30 lb. of oysters in the shell ($20), best places to eat out, and what the highlights of the area are. I asked him how long he had been here and he said he came in December for about 2-3 weeks and hasn't left.
