Apr 6, 2008 - the journey begins

After 6 months of organizing, packing and planning it all came together on Mike's birthday. The house emptied, cleaned and closed we set out on our adventure. Let's say we weren't real cool the day we left... pulling out toward the end of the cul de sac we realized several construction trucks filled the small circle at the end. So a 3 point turn in the middle of the block left the 40' of motorhome sideways on the 20' wide street. Oh hell, it's only grass, it'll grow back - see ya later neighborhood! We made it exactly 3.5 miles before...
